Day Shift!Job Description:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Collect, process, and analyze samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for abnormalities or diseases.
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Maintain laboratory records, including test results, quality control data, and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist/Scientist (MLS) by a recognized accrediting agency such as ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and healthcare providers.
