NightsJob Description:
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans.
- Assess patients' conditions, collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans, and evaluate patient responses to interventions.
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Respond to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrests and respiratory distress, and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records, document patient assessments and interventions, and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or eligible for licensure.
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
