Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION HRIS Systems Analyst supports Connecticut Children’s HR systems and will play a key role in the migration of the Connecticut Children’s HR system from ADP Enterprise to Oracle HCM. Post go live, will act as a subject matter expert in Oracle HCM application management in the areas of configuration, table maintenance and general support for the core HR modules including ESS and MSS. The analyst will have the ability to analyze and resolve issues in coordination with our vendor. The analyst will partner closely with the HRIS, HR, Operations teams and various subject matter experts covering Connecticut Children’s entities to ensure the configuration of the Oracle HCM product meets the business requirements and functional needs. Analyst will have a working knowledge of core HR processes and how those processes tie into the system configuration.
ResponsibilitiesRole Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and proactively work to address disconnects and opportunities ensuring operational and functional effectiveness with the Oracle HCM Cloud solution across all stakeholders including IT, HR, Payroll, and end users.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Oracle HCM application management in the areas of configuration, table maintenance and general support for the core HR modules including ESS and MSS.
  • May assist with supporting other HCM modules such as Absence, Benefits, Compensation, off- boarding etc. as needed.
  • Ensure that all releases are tested and implemented effectively mitigating any system down time and impact to integrations. In addition, work with HR to prioritize and determine new functionality and enhancements, aligning with our overall HR strategy.
  • Identify system design needs and configure system enhancements and changes to modules; collaborate with internal clients for current and future module configuration, updates and/or new functionality.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, IT and Vendors to troubleshoot issues with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Generates ad hoc reports while providing accurate and timely information.
  • Interprets and document user requirements and process flows to meet system-related needs. Develops alternative solutions, offers recommendations, and influences decisions.
  • Interact with end-users, internal and external customers to explain, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Support quarterly release testing events by reviewing documentation, coordinating with the business on new features, reviewing test scripts, etc.
  • Participate in projects as the SME for technical requirements related to our HR Systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience Required
  • High School Diploma, GED, or a higher level of education that would require the completion of high school, is required. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Information System, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Three years of human resources information systems or system administration experience or similar system experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Healthcare or academic experience preferred
