Connecticut Eye Consultants, a premier ophthalmology group is seeking a Patient A/R Specialist to join our team. This is a dynamic job with varied job duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES/WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Calling patients for outstanding balances
Send collection letters to patients
Post patient checks and portal payments
Review upcoming appointments for outstanding balances
Post charges from our hearing department
Post all no show fess
Handle returned mail
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical practice setting
Very well organized, self-motivated, accountable and attentive to detail
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks.
A positive attitude and team player
