Connecting Experts is Hiring an Account Director Near Detroit, MI

Our client are a leading global technology consulting and digital services provider. They are seeking an experience and highly skilled Account Director to join their sales team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create and preserve enduring bonds with important JOEM (Japanese Original Equipment Manufacturers) stakeholders to guarantee high levels of client involvement and satisfaction.
  • To meet revenue goals and increase our market share in the infotainment and autonomous driving sectors, develop and implement strategic sales initiatives.
  • Determine and seize fresh company prospects in the JOEM market by utilising market research and client comments.
  • Persuade JOEM customers of the worth and advantages of our infotainment and driverless driving software solutions.
  • Oversee pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and agreement finalisations with JOEM clients to guarantee advantageous terms and conditions.
  • Assist engineering, product development, marketing, and other cross-functional teams in closely coordinating sales strategies with overarching corporate goals.
  • To keep up with market changes, the competitive environment, and client wants, conduct in-depth market research and analysis.
  • Provide top management with monthly sales reports, predictions, and presentations that offer insights into market trends and sales performance.

Your Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a similar discipline. Having an MBA is advantageous.
  • 8–10 years minimum of experience selling car software, preferably concentrating on infotainment and driverless driving technologies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of infotainment and autonomous driving systems and technology.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting sales goals and overseeing major automotive clients.
  • Strong negotiating, presentation, and communication abilities.
  • The capacity to operate both alone and cooperatively in a group.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications.
  • Willingness to travel as required to attend industry events and meet with JOEM customers.
