Position: Assistant Program Coordinator, Special Purpose Private School

Location: Kittery Academy & Kittery Kids Academy

Compensation: Up to $25/hr depending on education & experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, School Day Hours!

Description:

The Assistant Program Coordinator provides general support to the school, students and staff as well as assist in day to day oversight and organization; including supporting with the supervision of BHP staff, behavioral management skills, treatment plan implementation, and staff coverage. The Assistant Program Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting in Transitional Planning for students, and provision of BHP support when needed for Kittery Academy, Kittery Kids Academy. This position works collaboratively with the Program Coordinator, Head of Schools and all team members and communicates effectively with members of the community, and colleagues in other districts and schools. They support the Mission of Kittery Academy, Kittery Kids Academy, and follows the Policies and Procedures of the agency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BHP Certification;
• 4 year college degree required;
• Experience working with children with mental health challenges;
• Have a valid drivers license with proof of auto insurance
• Are a positive person with a strong work ethic
