Connections Personnel is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Somerset, NJ

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, schedule, manage appointments for management.
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
  • Book travel arrangements for executives and visitors, domestic and international.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Associates Degree, additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus.

Event Planning Requirements:

  • Research team building activities and company gatherings.
  • Discussing and confirming all event details, including the number of guests, food, decor, theme, and budget.
  • Experience in event planning, design or a related field may be required.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Superb networking skills, customer service, and negotiation tactics.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to function under pressure.
  • A valid driver’s license.
