Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in low voltage systems and possess a strong understanding of electrical components and systems.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including fire alarms, security systems, and other related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of wiring
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations and repairs
- Troubleshoot issues with low voltage systems to identify and resolve problems promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Certificate or relevant training in low voltage systems
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Experience working with electrical components and systems
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in low voltage installations
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills as a service technician
