Join Our Team as a Senior PI Specialist!

We are seeking a dynamic Senior PI Specialist to join our IT Commercial Applications, Pipeline & Compliance group. Reporting directly to the IT Operations Application Manager, you will be the cornerstone in supporting and innovating our Aveva PI systems and various critical applications across Production, Operations, and EHS.

What You’ll Do:

• Innovate & Maintain: Implement, debug, and upgrade AVEVA PI systems including PI Interface, PI Archive, PI AF, PI Vision, PI Web API, PI OLEDB, and PI Integrator for BA.
• Solution Architect: Design and implement AVEVA PI software solutions using historian data. Develop applications in PI Vision and PI Asset Framework, encompassing Analysis, Event Framework, Notifications, and custom Data References.
• Integrate & Develop: Seamlessly integrate PI data with other IT systems in ETRM, Commercial Operations, O&M, and EHS. Develop new features for Energy/Production Balance and Advanced Analytics software.
• Lifecycle Leadership: Oversee various phases of the application development lifecycle, from feasibility studies to design and implementation.
• Collaborate & Train: Work closely with internal users to document requirements and produce detailed business requirements and architecture design documents. Lead PI training sessions and workshops.
• Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve by continuously learning new technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions to our customers.

What You Bring:

• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of process data sources, PI interfaces/servers, and PI Clients (DataLink, Process Book, PI Vision, PI Data Access, etc.).
• AVEVA PI Expertise: Experience with AVEVA PI products such as PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI SDK, PI Notifications, PI SMT, PI WebAPI, PI Vision, PI OLEDB, and PI Integrator for Business Analytics.
• Development Skills: Proficient in MS SQL, PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML. Bonus points for web development skills using AngularJS, Node.js, React, and knowledge of Machine Learning with Python.
• Industry Experience: Hands-on experience in the Oil and Gas industry is highly preferred.
