Cardiac Cath Lab RN
36 hrs/wk; 9-hour shifts with weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call requirements
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our dynamic team. You will be expected to perform patient assessments and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, as well as organize and prioritize the needs of patients and the Cath Lab team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, sedate, circulate, and scrub all Cath Lab cases
- Perform thorough patient assessments
- Exhibit critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations
- Organize and prioritize the needs of patients and the Cath Lab team
- Ensure a sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Current Nebraska (NE) RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Critical care experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right dynamic candidate
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to meet the on-call requirements of the position
