We are seeking a dynamic Accounting/Analyst professional with a background in plant manufacturing analysis and accounting. This is a Manger level position that will be responsible for all manufacturing costing and analysis.
Manufacturing Cost and Financial Analysis Manager to oversee and refine analysis and accounting processes for manufacturing, with a focus on inventory and production costs. This role involves close collaboration with operations and supply chain teams to monitor and evaluate daily financial activities. The successful candidate will develop strategies for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting data while driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
This on-site, hands-on role includes the following duties:
- Conduct comprehensive cost reviews and generate periodic reports, including analysis of product margins.
- Establish and maintain material and labor cost benchmarks.
- Design, implement, and optimize cost accounting frameworks and systems.
- Perform in-depth analysis of production costs to identify opportunities for savings.
- Oversee inventory reconciliation and validation at the end of each financial period.
- Streamline accounting procedures and propose improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with the Controller to support annual audit preparations.
- Monitor and achieve key financial objectives.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records to document all transactions.
- Supervise and manage the annual physical inventory process.
- Develop and enforce cost accounting policies, methods, and standards in partnership with the Controller.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with expertise in manufacturing environments and a strong aptitude for data analysis. Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Related Field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in plant manufacturing accounting/finance position.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, with demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems and databases.
- Skilled in analyzing and interpreting large datasets to produce actionable insights and reports.
- Comprehensive understanding of cost accounting principles and best practices.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-driven with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
