Warehouse Assistant
Connor Corporation, a small privately held engineered products company experiencing explosive growth is searching for a highly qualified, experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This position will be based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Warehouse Assistant will have responsibilities for, but not limited to:
- Unloading containers and verifying packing lists
- Perform receiving, receiving inspection, inventory control, and shipping to ISO procedures
- Preparing goods for shipment including documentation, labels, wrapping, and pallet loading
- Scheduling of trucks for pickup and loading trucks
- Assist with sorting and inspecting parts as directed
- Assist with oversight of warehouse organization and storage of goods
- Use of computer system to create shipping documents and transfer goods within the system as needed
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, excellent attendance, willingness to assist others, strong organizational skills, attention to details and a drive to meet deadlines.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have substantially all of the following qualifications:
- Must have a High School diploma, or GED
- Must have 2 years of warehouse and/or licensed forklift operator work experience.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a periodic basis.
- Ability to proficiently operate a computer and relevant software.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015.
