CONSOR Engineers is Hiring a Bridge Design Engineer Near Missoula, MT

What Your Day Will Look Like:

:

As a bridge design engineer, you`ll provide technical support in the design and delivery of transportation projects, including highway, transit, pedestrian bridges; retaining walls; culverts; over-height damage repairs; inspections and testing; and unique structures. You`ll analyze, design, inspection, evaluation, estimate and provide construction technical support. The bridge design engineer reports to the project manager.

What You'll Do:

:
  • Bridge inspections, assessment, and rehabilitation design.
  • Review of shop drawings and field technical support of bridge construction.
  • Complete quantities and construction cost estimates.
  • Report preparation and cost estimating

What You'll Need:

:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Minimum of two years with bridge design experience.
  • This hybrid job operates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines. May occasionally be exposed to work environments that include exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements. While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling. This job may occasionally require operating a company vehicle, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
