To responsibly assist in a variety of warehouse duties, to include receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling reservation request, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential inventory.
Responsibilities

• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming goods to verify receipt of items against packing list and purchase order.
• Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to packing slip and purchase orders. May inspect, accept, and reject goods received based on condition and conformity.
• Provide backup to shipping department when necessary, i.e. pack shipments, create manifest, commercial invoice, and file AES.
• Input stock items into Costpoint/Sunflower and store in assigned warehouse location. Mark inventory codes on received goods using proper label.
• Effectively communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer regarding returns and rejections of non-conforming material.
• Operates forklift, inventory picker, and pallet-jack to pull and move stock.
• Submits receiving document packet to accounts payable.
• Conducts cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure accurate stock utilization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• One years of experience performing general warehouse duties, with focus on receiving and inventory management practices required.
• Costpoint and Sunflower experience preferred.
• Utilizes effective oral and written communication skills with employees, vendors, etc..
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
• Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Working ConditionsWork is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, however, some extended or weekend hours may be required.
Physical RequirementsMay be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
