Construction Resources is Hiring an Installer Helper Near Birmingham, AL
Summary/Objective
This position works within the inventory and material handling areas of the department
Essential Functions
- Will work on fabrication of stone or solid surface materials, depending upon business requirements
- Will be responsible for installation of customers’ fabricated materials as required
- Will be responsible for loading and unloading of fabricated materials; for inventory or customer delivery
- Ensure the proper maintenance of production equipment on a regular basis; filters, dust collectors, oiling of machinery, or other types of devices as assigned
- Maintain a well-organized, clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives
Competencies/Skills/Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to multi-task and working within specified timeframes
- Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment
- Current Fork Life Certification required
- Ability to problem-solve a plus
- Previous work experience in the industry a plus
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35-40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Employee must hold a valid work authorization.
