Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure operational efficiency of equipment through preventative maintenance per manufacturer recommended service intervals. This includes maintaining a wide variety of equipment, such as land based and marine based lattice boom cranes, excavators, dozers, rollers, air compressors, power units, vibratory hammers, heavy haul trucks, welders, generators, tugboats, crew boats, etc.
• Train and supervise maintenance employees.
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
• Maintain records to include but not limited to work orders, manuals, certifications and expirable registrations, Telematics units and systems, and distribute reports accordingly.
• Proactively research means, methods and consumables for maintenance improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with shop manager and equipment manager to keep equipment reliable. 
• Implement workplace safety policies and standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
• Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
• Advanced knowledge relating to preventative maintenance.
• Experience with MS Office, PHCSS 360 maintenance software are a plus.

Preferred Qualification

• Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.
