Join us on our journey to serve our customers and be the leader in our industry! We are looking for an Insurance Agent to join our Constructive Insurance team.

Constructive Insurance, an affiliate of Fay Servicing, is an Independent Insurance Brokerage with offices in downtown Chicago, Tampa, FL, and Dallas, TX. We are in search of an Insurance Agent to sell Habitational Risk Insurance through our expansive network of insurance carriers. Our agency offers an excellent value proposition that capitalizes on internal relationships with hundreds of account managers and loan originators. Through these affiliations, our Insurance Agents receive thousands of internal customer referrals and live agent transfers each month to customers who are in need of our insurance products.

The Insurance Agent is responsible for achieving individual sales targets as well as meeting agency production requirements through outbound phone calls and other means of proactive sales activities. The Insurance Agent will work with company-provided leads, referral sources, and self-generated sales opportunities to fill and maintain a sufficient sales pipeline in order to quote, sell, and process insurance applications that meet or exceed monthly sales goals. The Insurance Agent will be expected to issue profitable new business to achieve maximum growth, compliance, and profitability standards.

What you will do for Constructive Insurance:

  • Utilize the company dialing system to outreach company provided leads as their primary form of customer acquisition
  • Conducts interviews with insurance prospects in order to analyze household data, determine customer coverage objectives, advise customers of policy and coverage options, and gather all required information
  • Ensures exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of insurance underwriting guidelines policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Provide timely and accurate property and casualty insurance quotes to customers via phone and email solicitations
  • Provide appropriate coverage options and discuss with client in detail
  • Meet company performance standards for compliance
  • Process requests for policy endorsements and amendments as requested
  • Proactively contact prospects for solicitation of insurance quotes
  • Obtains underwriting approval by completing accurate applications for coverage
  • Effectively utilize lead management system to properly track and effective manage leads provided on a daily basis
  • Maintain high level of customer service by clearly communicating coverages of insurance policies, follow up, and always be available to answer questions
  • Maintains and follows compliance policy for Clean Desk Policy and insured sensitive information
  • Continue to always learn about new insurance programs and product/guideline updates
  • Proactively manage sales pipelines and attend internal sales meetings
  • Complete Continuing Education training to maintain active status of insurance licensing
  • Adhere to all corporate policies as well as internal, external and compliance guidelines
  • Develops Centers of Influence to create self-sourced opportunities/leads
  • Replies and responds to all leads sourced and provided to agent

What you will bring to Constructive Insurance:

  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must possess an active Property and Casualty (General Lines in some states) License that allows them to sell corporate
  • policies. They need to be willing to acquire additional state licenses as needed
  • 1-3 years of Sales and/or Insurance related experience (preferred)
  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Solid time-management and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Call center background a plus
