QC Inspector

Irvine, CA- 1st Shift

6 month Contract to Hire

$22.00- $25.00 an hour

Successful candidate will perform inspections through operations in receiving inspection, shop and assembly. Provide technical assistance on all inspection and measurement systems. Operate CMM to perform critical and GD&T inspections.

Requirements:

• Experience with testing & inspecting purchased components, assemblies and machine components
• Extensive exp using measuring devices and other tools
• 3 years exp in Quality Assurance/Control
• CMM Automated strongly preferred, manual okay
• Experience ensuring inspection is performed with the proper and calibrated gages and equipment
• Experience taking accurate measurements utilizing precision devices such as Vision Systems, CMM, micrometers, Vernier dial calipers & more
• Experience preparing documentation for records of history for all assembly, machine work and inspection
• Highly proficient level regarding blueprint reading and precision tolerance
• Must have practical exp and be familiar with GD&T along with CMM
• Mathematical ability when using units of measure
• Must have PC and Manufacturing Data Systems skills
• Experience supporting Quality and Operations departments
• Ability to identify, segregate and process discrepant material per procedure
• Familiar with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) devices
• Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rule, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and Quality System Manual
