The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in both bicycle sales as well as performing bike fit in a retail setting. Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology as well as experience using technology from Retul® is helpful, but not required. Our ideal candidate is open minded, eager to learn, and excited to help more people fit better on their bikes.

• Responsibility for helping to manage his or her schedule and calendar so as to present current and future availability for fit appointments with the public in the Company’s retail stores, which includes forecasting customer demand

• Familiarity with new and a continuing review of existing products within the fit industry, including changes / enhancements in and to Retul® equipment and products (for example, saddles, stems, shoes, insoles, etc.) so as to ensure he or she remains up-to-date / current in the fit industry and practices

• Sourcing and building relations with new Conte’s Bike Shop customers

• Assisting the Company’s Director of Fitting Services in sourcing and selecting new products used or useful within professional bike fit practices

• Monitoring market changes, competitor prices and products

• Assisting in the visual presentation and merchandising in the Company’s stores of the professional fit area and equipment

• Working with the Company’s social media personnel

• Commercial acumen and a passion for the cycling sector and its products, with a keen interest in making Conte’s Bike Shop customers comfortable on their bikes and enjoying the type of riding they desire for their biking experiences

• An understanding of what motivates customers to buy our products and services

• Confidence combined with negotiating, influencing and networking skills
