Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Philadelphia, PA! Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role is responsible for processing firm expenses and client cost invoices efficiently and accurately. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers up to $30/Hour!
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile, code, scan, and enter firm expense and client-related invoices ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Reconcile firm credit cards regularly.
- Organize client-related invoices and communicate with clients regarding invoices they have requested to pay directly.
- Handle vendor payment inquiries and help resolve outstanding balances.
- Liaise with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff regarding approvals and payment statuses.
- Issue rush checks daily and weekly, as required.
- Ensure all transactions comply with client guidelines and firm policies.
- Send and follow up on client-paid invoices.
- Assist with the processing of attorney expenses.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Handle stressful situations with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Exercise impeccable judgment when dealing with clients, attorneys, and paralegals.
- Operate with a sense of urgency in all tasks.
- Experience in a law firm is a plus.
- Familiarity with Aderant Expert software is advantageous.
