Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Philadelphia, PA! The Legal Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of client invoices for assigned clients and matters. This role supports partners in managing client inventories and involves comprehensive billing management. This Contract-to-Hireopportunity offer $31-$43/Hour based on experience!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support firm partners by overseeing all aspects of billing for assigned clients and matters.
• Review matter setups to ensure adherence to rate agreements and outside counsel guidelines.
• Examine time and cost entries to meet client and matter requirements, including handling block billing, task codes, and summer associate time entries. Edit entries as needed, including transfers, combining, and dividing entries.
• Submit timekeepers and new matter requests to eBilling vendors. Ensure successful submission of all invoices through appropriate eBilling systems.
• Contact new clients to review billing and payment procedures and manage special billing requests in coordination with the billing supervisor.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, with some background in accounting or finance preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PDF software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong mathematical aptitude.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
