CNA’s Analytics Summer Internship Program is looking for an Analytics Intern for a dynamic 10-week training program (summer 2025) that provides hands on experience and unique opportunities in the Insurance industry. This program gives each intern their own manager and practical assignments to gain real-world experience. Every effort is made to ensure that interns receive meaningful and challenging work.
Our internships are based out of our Chicago office (151 N Franklin St.) and work a hybrid schedule typically consisting of three days in office and two days optional remote. Housing assistance will be provided to those candidates who qualify, based on their distance from the Chicago office. Note: for full-time employment, our employees work out of the following hubs: Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Radnor, PA (near Philadelphia); Warren, NJ; and San Francisco, CA.

• Learning sessions with senior staff covering various topics related to the insurance industry.
• Professional and personal development activities including public speaking and preparing a presentation.
• Specialized training sessions and activities for interns.
• Higher hourly rates are available to students who have passed one or more exams.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Must have at least sophomore standing.
• Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or any other related degree.
• GPA of 3.25 or higher preferred.
• Interest in the Insurance Industry.
• Interest in pursuing an Analytics career upon graduation.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and the ability to cultivate and maintain positive business relationships.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective problem solving, analytical aptitude, learn quickly and embrace change.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or visas (including student visas -OPT, F-1, etc.).
• Willingness to relocate to Chicago for the summer internship program. Note: for full-time employment, our actuarial employees work out of the following hubs: Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Radnor, PA (near Philadelphia); Warren, NJ; and San Francisco, CA.
