Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will :

• Assist work cells by picking up and delivering parts needed for assembly.
• Receive and complete work orders as scheduled by the Assembly Team Lead.
• Deliver small parcel shipments to the shipping department for final packaging.
• Stage tooling, spare parts, and manuals for equipment orders in advance of the equipment being completed.
• Create serial tags and print bar code labels.
• In coordination with the Inventory Control Specialist, report daily usages for accurate inventory control.
• Assemble build kits based on bill of materials (BOMs) for specific assembly departments.
• Using the pallet jack, move partially filled orders to the designated area; once order has been completed, use pallet jack to move the item to the designated area for completion by the shipping department.
• Partner with the Shipping department as needed to box up small parcels and freight packages.
• Perform additional ad hoc assembly tasks as assigned.

The position will report to the Assembly Team Lead.

Hours : 7 : 00am 300pm. Additional overtime may be permitted during peak operational times (example : end of the month).

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Legal authorization to work in the is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Willingness to work 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Intermediate computer skills.

• Experience operating a forklift and / or pallet jack.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years in a Warehouse / Manufacturing role.
• Experience working with assembling components.
• General understanding of basic safety procedures.
• Experience with ERP tool.
