The Orchards is hiring a Full Time Dishwasher!

Schedule : Saturday- Wednesday AM 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm

  • $17.00-$17.50

The Cook I / Utility Worker performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES :

  • Cleans kitchen thoroughly daily.
  • Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
  • Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Empties all trash containers in kitchen into dumpster daily.
  • Keeps storerooms, freezers and refrigerators clean.
  • Mops floors at designated times.
  • Stores food and non-food supplies, restocking provisions after deliveries.
  • Limited preparations of vegetables and provisions in time of need, under direct supervision.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned by Chefs and / or supervisor.

Qualifications :

Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.

  • Ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications and standards.
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment.
  • High school graduate, student or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience as a Dishwasher.
  • Knowledge and practice of safe lifting and back care techniques
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Legally Authorized to work in the United States
