Controlled Environmental Regulatory Testing Services (CERTS) is a full-service testing and certification company focused on providing today's cleanroom professionals with the support needed to regulate and maintain a stable, productive cleanroom.

The CERTS team knows the importance of keeping your cleanroom in compliance, that is why all of our customers are treated like partners.

CERTS technicians are NSF, CNBT, IEST and CETA trained to meet the stringent needs of customers’ cleanrooms and clean equipment. CERTS invests in the most current, state-of-the-art testing equipment to provide the most accurate and efficient testing available.

Job description

We are looking for a Field Technician to perform testing and certification activities at customer facilities. Your role is to follow guidelines laid out during training and in quality manual procedures to complete customer specific testing in cleanrooms, controlled environments, biological safety cabinets, laminar flow benches, and performance verification of common laboratory instruments. Previous experience working with sophisticated testing equipment would be an advantage. A successful field technician should be willing to learn, be willing to train, and be customer focused.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service. Extremely customer service focused with proven ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with many constituencies of our process.
  • Follow existing testing procedures.
  • Document all testing data faithfully and without bias.
  • Record additional information regarding testing and service activities.
  • Install new products, and test to ensure they are working correctly.
  • Perform maintenance and provide customer support.
  • Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them.
  • Communicate with administrative staff to order parts for repairs if needed.

Technical Specifications include:

  • Blue Beam or Adobe
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook/Teams, OneDrive, Excel, and Word.
  • Prior experience with Sage a plus.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency by quickly adapting to new technology and readily acquiring new technical skills.
  • Skilled in using standard office equipment such as computer, fax, photocopier, scanner, etc.

This position will be trained in:

  • ISO 14644
  • NSF-49
  • IEST
  • CNBT/CAG
  • USP (797/800/795/825)

  • Shifts are typically scheduled between 6am and 6pm
  • Monday to Friday, sometimes Saturday and Sunday
  • Travel required during the week.
