Convergint Technologies is Hiring a Fire Alarm Service Technician Near Orlando, FL

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will assist with the testing and inspection of fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings. You will help to identify and report any problems or deficiencies found in the systems you inspect. This is a customer-facing role, one that is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects. You will be part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

  • Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
  • Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
  • Monitor the fire-alarm panel.
  • Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.
  • Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in the Fire Alarm Industry
  • EST experience required, certification preferred
  • NICET certification preferred
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Initiative – engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities.
  • Adaptability – responds effectively to changes in situation or information.
  • Commitment – engages with colleagues and customers to ensure successful testing operations and complete customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
