Convoy of Hope is Hiring a Partner Engagement Administrative Coordinator Near Springfield, MO

Ministry Function

The Partner Engagement Administrative Coordinator supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by providing administrative support and project coordination to the Partner Engagement Team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates independent decision-making ability by ensuring project deadlines are managed and met as assigned.
  • Composes correspondence, compiles reports, word processing and spreadsheet creation.
  • Coordinates in cooperation with the Travel Director for all travel arrangements.
  • Works to assist Development Resource team members with time sensitive or high-volume projects as needed.
  • Maintains department and public calendars and schedules.
  • Interacts with staff at all levels of the organization in a gracious and supportive manner.
  • Completes Chrome River reconciliation reports by gathering and coding prepared receipts, retrieving appropriate approval, and submitting to finance.
  • Acts as point of contact for Senior Director – Partner Relations - East and downlines for the following tasks:
    • Schedules and coordinates meetings
    • Prepares for donor appointments
    • Executes donor mailings
  • Disseminates resources and information to team.
  • Manages gatherings outside Convoy’s Major Donor Events.
    • Coordinates with vendors
    • Manages invitation process
    • Acts as point of contact prior, during, and after an event.
    • Ensures follow-up process is being executed.
  • Fulfills all other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two or more years of experience in an office setting is required.
  • Displays strong organizational skills for handling several projects at one time. Must be detail- oriented with the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of Mac and software programs, including Google Suites and Microsoft Office.
  • Manages information in a confidential matter.
  • Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attends and actively participates in Convoy of Hope at Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members.
  • Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
  • Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.
  • As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that team members embrace the religious purposes for which it exists and not only agrees with its Statement of Faith but demonstrate it in their lives on an ongoing basis.
