OverviewThe QAC Laboratory Technician at Cook Incorporated is responsible for preparing and monitoring environmental systems and products to provide support for production, facility, engineering, and quality departments. Responsibilities
Perform environmental monitoring of facilities, including viable/non-viable particulates, processed compressed airlines, temperature, pressure, and humidity
Perform physical testing of product
Perform media preparation, glassware, materials etc. to ensure continued lab support
Maintain laboratory equipment
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
Perform data entry/review of generated results
Maintain accurate and compliant data and record management
Develop and maintain laboratory procedures
Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth
Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Technical education a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Physical Requirements
Works under general office environment conditions
Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment
Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate
Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves may be required in some areas associated with this position
