OverviewThe QAC Laboratory Technician at Cook Incorporated is responsible for preparing and monitoring environmental systems and products to provide support for production, facility, engineering, and quality departments.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Perform environmental monitoring of facilities, including viable/non-viable particulates, processed compressed airlines, temperature, pressure, and humidity
- Perform physical testing of product
- Perform media preparation, glassware, materials etc. to ensure continued lab support
- Maintain laboratory equipment
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Perform data entry/review of generated results
- Maintain accurate and compliant data and record management
- Develop and maintain laboratory procedures
- Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth
- Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical education a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Works under general office environment conditions
- Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate
- Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves may be required in some areas associated with this position
