Responsibilities
- Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control testing of product,
- Independently perform advanced method development and R&D
- Maintain laboratory equipment, facility systems, etc.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Generate reports
- Perform accurate and compliant data and record management
- Develop and maintain laboratory procedures
- Drive and direct continued improvement of laboratory operations,
- Mentor and train other Microbiologists and coworkers according to
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
- Must maintain good documentation and laboratory practices
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in
with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
- Perform other duties as necessary
- BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Biology or Microbiology
- Advanced working knowledge and understanding of regulations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook)
- 10 years hands-on laboratory experience
- Must be able to perform reasonable job functions requiring periods of
those requiring manual dexterity, effective listening and communication.
