Cook Out Restaurants is seeking an experienced Restaurant Maintenance Technician with knowledge in HVAC and commercial refrigeration to join our elite Maintenance team. Our technicians repair and maintain AC units, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, modular restaurant refrigeration equipment, ice machines, and reach-in coolers. In addition, our technicians handle general maintenance plus they are taught to repair/maintain the kitchen’s “hot side.”

Restaurant Maintenance Technician Requirements:
*Minimum two years relevant work experience with refrigeration (coolers, and freezers)
*Must be able to work weekdays, every other weekend and ability to be on-call when notified.
*Ability to lift 50lbs (max).
*Posses tools/instruments required for refrigeration work
*Have reliable transportation to your home restaurant where your work van is parked. Van may be taken home when on call on the weekend
*Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random drug testing per company policy.
*No criminal convictions within the past 10 years
*A valid driver’s license for at least three years with no major traffic violations or accidents within the past 3-5 years, (term related to occurrence). Minor violations shall be evaluated on a case by case bases

Restaurant Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
*Serve multiple locations to provide a safe, clean, and well maintained environment
*Maintain a good work relationship with Service Area Manager(S.A.M), Office support staff, location managers and Crew members
*Utilize a tablet to keep record of maintenance requests and complete in a timely manner.
*Regularly inspect grounds, building and kitchen equipment and systems
*Perform self-identified repairs
*Other duties deemed necessary by the S.A.M
