Responsibilities • Prepare and cook family meals. This includes, but not limited to washing, chopping and cooking vegetables, slicing and portioning proteins and preparing sauces. • Minimize food waste to prevent over production of menu items. • Take inventory and FIFO ingredients • Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workspace by sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and tools, organizing storage areas, etc. • Label and stock all ingredients so they can be stored and organized properly and easily accessible according to health code • Ensure the quality of food production in line with standard recipes
Qualifications: • 1-2 years of experience working in a kitchen environment • Ability to stand and cook for 8-10 hours per shift • High school diploma or equivalent • Must be at least 18 years old • Ability to speak Spanish • Sense of urgency • Attention to detail • Positive attitude
