Summary :Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of PTIs business goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following.

Build and maintain unit assemblies, which include but are not limited to, furnaces, base plates and hearths.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

Performs yearly maintenance such as Magnetic Particle Checks on all units.

Maintains and repairs buckets, rods and all other fixtures used by production.

Maintains and repairs vacuum, cooling, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Performs upgrades to existing systems when required and install new systems when required.

Performs operational checks on HIP unit.

Ability to start, monitor, and operate the HIP vessels, making necessary adjustments as required to keep run in spec.

Ability to perform gas analysis during HIP run, understand and maintain gas analysis system, to include swapping out UHP bottles and the switching of one UHP bottle to another.

Comply with safety regulations, perform general housekeeping, and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Maintain inventory management of maintenance shop.

Operates forklift or uses hand truck to move equipment, parts, and material to appropriate areas.

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters in performing maintenance duties

Must be flexible to come in early, stay late and be available for rotating after hours on call.

Performs emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and preventive maintenance, both daily and monthly, of equipment and facilities.

Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
