Job Description:
As an entry-level commercial kitchen technician, you will be responsible for assisting in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment. You will work closely with experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and receive comprehensive training on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and more.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing and setting commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on kitchen appliances, identifying potential issues before they become significant problems.
• Troubleshoot and repair various kitchen equipment types under senior technicians' guidance, using essential tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, repairs, and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear and concise information about equipment status and any required repairs.
• Support senior technicians with special projects and larger installations, gaining exposure to more complex tasks and systems.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical aptitude.
• Commercial kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods
• Comfortable working in varying conditions, including hot, cold, and noisy environments.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
