Short Description:Serve as the front-line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule and provide general information to patients and/or their families.
Ensures that insurance information is verified, co-pays are collected, and that patient charts are prepared in advance.
At all times ensures a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patients Bill of Rights.
Experience Required:Computer literate. Excellent communication and customer service skill. Some knowledge of medical insurances. Knowledge of IDX helpful. Experience in a medical environment strongly preferred.
Education Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
