Operations Assistant

We are looking for someone who attacks a project and drives it through to completion with minimum distraction. This position works closely with the President and General Manager of the company.

This is a demanding position and the candidate must be a self starter that pays excellent attention to every detail. Experience in service / construction atmosphere is preferred.

Must be able to balance between administrative staff and service technicians to ensure efficiency between requested and completed work.

Qualifications :

Education : College degree

Skills & Experience :

Excellent communication skills

Excellent computer skills

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive

Experience in service industry or construction is a plus

Duties and Responsibilities :

Ordering and tracking parts and supplies

Finding best pricing for parts needed.

Returning items and tracking credits

Physically staging jobs

Inventory

Accounting for and handing out parts and supplies to technicians

Checking work trucks for proper tools, fluids, lights, equipment, etc.

Completing and / or updated checklist by on a daily basis

Orientation and onboarding for new employees

Reporting progress to the President of the company on a daily basis

Communicating with all vendors

Programing of locks and electronic devices (ie : Door locks, gates, iPads)

Shipping off and tracking returns

Meeting with companies to endure all needed maintenance on property is handled to completion (ie : Electricians, plumbers, pest control, appliance repair, etc.)

Head up certification program for technicians
