COPE Community Services is Hiring an Outreach Worker (School-Based Services) Near Tucson, AZ

We are looking for a full time School Based Outreach Worker to join the Youth and Family Services Team! Responsible for clinical oversight of member care, and to the team as it relates to the delivery of services, including the Child and Family Team (CFT) treatment planning. Acts as the primary contact for all CFT participants, to facilitate meetings and follow up on recommendations, to ensure continuity of care and service delivery, and educate members about the CFT process. The School Based Outreach Worker provides onsite intakes and services, either on campus or via zoom. This position is the main contact for school districts with established Memorandums of Understanding (MOU). This position coordinates school-based referrals and provides timely responsiveness to those referrals. They ensure the provision of school-based services in the community. This position will work in partnership with different school campuses, providing intakes and groups at the campus. It is a mobile position with a lot of community involvement. Must be able to obtain an IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and maintain clearance throughout employment.

Hiring bonus: $500 to be paid as soon as administratively feasible after approximately 30 calendar days of successful employment (which must include completion of New Employee Orientation).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree, no experience necessary.
  • Associate's degree plus two (2) years Behavioral Health work experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED plus four (4) years of full-time Behavioral Health work experience.
  • Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Additional Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age (insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record. An unacceptable driving record includes (but is not limited to) the following:

  • more than two [2] moving violations in the last three [3] years or;
  • more than one [1] at-fault accident within the last three [3] years or;
  • any major violation (i.e. DUI, Careless/Reckless Driving, Drag Racing, Hit and Run) within the last three [3] years.

Other driving related violations may be considered unacceptable.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
