We work on a variety of projects ranging from renovations to new construction.We are currently hiring design professionals working towards architectural licensure. Interested individuals should have a strong interest in residential design; both renovation of existing structures and custom-designed new construction homes.Ideal candidates will have the desire to learn and be capable of working collaboratively and independently.Working with us, you will:Meet with clients both in person and over Zoom to discuss the project scopeBe responsible for scanning the existing space to upload to our software that will take measurements and create the existing floorplanCreate and edit schematic designs based on the project scope and client feedbackPrepare client-approved designs to be sent to the drafter and estimatorRapidly develop your architectural resumeEarn AXP documented hours toward licensureIdeal candidates will:A degree in Architecture from an NCARB-accredited program with 2-3 years of residential design experienceBe proficient in the use of Chief Architect or Revit softwareBe personable with the ability to communicate design ideas and solutions clearly and effectivelyHave excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clientsBasic knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building codesStrong graphic design skills and computer skillsThe ability to commute to our office in Hingham, MA, and to clients’ homes throughout the South Shore areaCompensation:Copia pays designers a commission by project and the compensation amount varies depending on project size. Designers are in complete control of their earnings by choosing how many projects they take on. We expect our designers to earn between $90,000 to $120,000 per year.
