Coppell, City of (TX) is Hiring a CD- VILLAGE COORDINATOR Near Coppell, TX

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in our community? The Community Development Department is seeking an energetic and innovative Village Coordinator!

In this exciting role, you will lead the development and maintenance of the Coppell Active Adult Network, known as the “Coppell Village,” a virtual community for adults aged 55 that provides valuable information, resources, and assistance. Your responsibilities will also include community engagement, planning, economic development, code compliance, building inspections, and environmental health, as well as addressing public inquiries and resolving issues.

We are looking for someone with experience in program development and volunteer management who is personable, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about serving your community and driving positive change, we want to hear from you!

Schedule Commitment
The Village Coordinator performs most duties on a Monday-Friday 40-hour week schedule, with some overtime or irregular hours worked when required. The Village Coordinator may be eligible to work remotely up to one day per week.

Pay Plan
This opportunity is non-exempt and on Pay Grade #11. The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade. Salary determination is supported by budget availability and qualifications of the candidate to maintain internal equity.
Hiring Range: $24.79-$30.37

Min $24.79 ($51,570.27)

Mid $30.37 ($63,167.52)

Max $35.94 ($74,764.77)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a combination of education and experience that would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to perform the essential duties and tasks of this position.
Experience working with volunteers is preferred.
Experience with program development and management is preferred.
Valid State of Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record.
