Veterinary Assistant Copper Basin Veterinary Clinic McCaysville, Georgia Copper Basin Veterinary Clinic is a mixed-animal veterinary clinic located in beautiful McCaysville, GA. McCaysville is a charming mountain town, located near the Tennessee/Georgia/NC borders. We are actively seeking an experienced veterinary technician. Our clinic is a fast-paced, full-service clinic that prides itself on the compassionate care of our patients and our community. We offer a full range of services including routine and sick patient care, diagnostic testing, surgical procedures, dental cleanings and acute care. We are looking for an individual with previous technician experience. The ideal candidate will be confident working with the veterinarians and technicians, comfortable in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgery recovery, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, drawing blood and running bloodwork, able to use laboratory equipment, understands the importance of client education, is a positive and supportive team player, and strives to continue to increase their knowledge in the veterinary industry and able to remain calm in a high-stress environment.
