CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for a hybrid or full-time remote (depending on candidate location) Supervisor, Associate Underwriters.
The Supervisor, Associate Underwriters oversees the associate underwriting staff and meets regularly to discuss challenges, results, workload priorities, and workflow changes in the underwriting department.
This position handles assigned personnel decisions with support from AVP, Underwriting Services. The person in this role works closely with AVP, Underwriting Services and manages day-to-day problem solving for Associate Underwriters.

Qualifications :
Prior Leadership experience is a plus.Thorough knowledge and / or experience with commercial lines of insurance, i.e., classification and experience rating.
Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Excellent customer serviceKnowledge of insurance principles, rates, rules, forms, procedures, regulations, coverages, and business processes.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and problem-solve.Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to analyze and assess problems or conflicts from multiple points of view. Overall thought process to consider bigger picture and downstream impacts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively exchange information with the underwriting team and internal and external stakeholders.
