Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents with life-threatening medical conditions. Performing physical examinations on patients, including listening to lungs with a stethoscope and checking pulses in arms and legs. Preparing infants for feeding by suctioning out their noses and mouths with a bulb syringe. Prepares and administers and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guarantee Hours: 36 hours

Shift: Day or Night shift Shift Length: 3 x 12 or 5 x 8 hours

Start Date: 02/13/2023 or 02/27/2023

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) year PICU experience
• Active BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board
• Cognitive skills as related to the position
