OverviewSuncadia Development is looking for an experienced development/construction project manager to join our real estate development team as we continue to build out Suncadia Resort and execute on several exciting capital projects. In this role, you will work with the internal development team as well as a variety of external planners, designers, and contractors to deliver new horizontal developments, community amenities, and capital improvements. This role requires 7-10 years of experience with a proven track record in real estate development project management and/or construction project management.
Annual Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00

- Leverage your experience in design and construction management to lead project organization for the projects you are assigned and drive projects across the finish line.
- Work with a small and nimble real estate development team to deliver capital projects and/or horizontal land development projects.
- Lead projects with project management excellence – coordinate, track, and report out project schedules, budget, and scope. Develop and manage logs, meeting minutes, and other project artifacts.
- Build vendor relationships, strengthen our team, and provide outstanding service for our community, real estate, hospitality, and guest customers.
- Coordinate and manage consultant teams to design and deliver projects. This includes, for example, architects, landscape architects, civil engineers, legal counsel, geotechnical engineers, surveyors, cultural resource experts, and traffic engineers.
- Lead the selection of horizontal construction contractors through preparation and management of the RFP process, bid evaluations, scope review, and contracting negotiations.
- Manage the permitting process to procure site, building, and other related construction permits.
- Oversee development of project design documents.
- Provide on the ground construction management documenting construction progress, attending OAC meetings, ensuring adherence to the project scope and design, managing change, and managing schedule and budget.
- Manage budgets, requisitions, value engineering items, disbursements, change orders, requests for additional services, and other monetary and financial matters.
- Prioritize conflicting project needs and handle day to day project matters proactively and with follow through. Develop “ownership” of projects and track details with care.
- Build vendor relationships, strengthen our team, and provide outstanding service for our hospitality and guest customers.
- Grow your real estate development skills and abilities.
- 7-10 years of experience leading real estate development, design, and/or construction projects.
- Successfully led construction projects as the project manager
- Experience in some or all of the following activities: concept design development, project scoping and estimating, budgeting and scheduling, permitting, design management, construction management, and launch/occupancy.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communications, team-building and presentation skills. Ability to build strong relationships with resort wide colleagues, stakeholders, and Suncadia residents.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and resourcefulness.
- Effective time management, logical decision-making ability, and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Can operate independently, shows self-motivation, demonstrates “ownership”, and has the desire and ability to learn.
- High desire to work in a resort development where your goals are collective wins and the goals of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Earned a B.S. degree, preferably in a related construction management or engineering discipline or comparable experience.
- Ability to work on site at Suncadia the majority of the time.
