The Spa is looking to Hire a Part-Time, Year-Round Public Space Attendant.The Public Spaces Attendant is responsible for ensuring the standards of cleanliness for public areas of the Sage Springs Club & Spa are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service. The Public Spaces attendant must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards. They will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains cleanliness of resort property. Cleans locker rooms, office spaces, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, treatment rooms, pool rooms, and other designated public spaces
  • Cleans and sanitizes all designated areas to Sunriver Resort standards
  • Restocks locker rooms amenities, water and towels
  • Attends appropriate departmental meetings
  • Assists Front Desk Attendants, and Providers if needed with stocking, guests, and clean up if needed
  • Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
  • Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment
  • Keeps cleaning caddy clean, stocked and orderly at all times
  • Dusts and polish furniture and equipment
  • Empties wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal
  • Changes light bulbs
  • Cleans and properly sanitizes area
  • Follows through on lost and found procedures. No articles shall be removed from occupied spaces. Absolute respect for guest property should always be exercised.
  • Washes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as needed
  • Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, and commodes showers daily
  • Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, etc.)
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior custodial experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
  • Must always ensure a teamwork environment
  • Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.;
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally ; infrequently climb a ladder
