ResponsibilitiesMajor areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limited to:
Assisting the Department Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality service standards
Ensuring food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner
Monitoring set up and maintenance of department to ensure all side work is complete
Interacting with guests to ensure a positive guest experience; attending daily pre-meal meetings
Conducting ongoing service training of department associates and assisting in the completion of daily shift reports
Qualifications
Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
Minimum of two years’ experience in Food and Beverage
Excellent telephone etiquette
Exceptional guest recovery skills
Enjoy interacting with people in a fast paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Must possess a positive attitude
Must be willing to participate in a learning environment
Must integrate company values throughout all interactions
Must be able to quickly adapt to effectively using new software products
Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
College degree preferred
Minimum of one-year experience in a food and beverage supervisory
Current TIPS certification required
Flexibility. This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experience. Previous experience passionately providing service to others preferred.
Knowledge. Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred.

Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment
