Corbin Bus Company is located in Bel Air, MD and we are looking for dependable candidates interested in applying for a school bus driver position.

This is a perfect job opportunity for RETIREES OR PARENTS with school-aged children AND you have HOLIDAYS and SUMMERS OFF! Now is the time to start training to be ready for the start of the 24-25 school year this September.

This is strictly a part-time job with no medical benefits. If this is an issue, do not apply.

Applicants :

• Must reside in Hanford county (if you live in a neighboring county, take into consideration the commute time back and forth for each shift)
• Absolutely no DUI OR POINTS on current license for minimum of the past 10 years
• Must have a clean criminal background - HCPS will do a background check and fingerprinting as part of the hiring process
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test (medical marijuana is not allowed)

This is considered a part-time position , we guarantee 5 hours per school day, 180 school days / year. Drivers are off when schools are closed.

Many routes are more than 5 hours and there are opportunities for extra work doing field trips, etc. Unemployment benefits are available during summer months and extended school breaks (eligibility is based on MD Unemployment guidelines).

We also offer performance / attendance bonuses.

Already have a CDL-B license? Minimal additional training is needed to be certified to drive a school bus.

Don't have a CDL? We do offer training to help get your CDL-B license (includes behind-the-wheel training, classroom instruction & certification).
