Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant that will play a crucial role in the finance department, supporting month-end reconciliations, conducting variance analysis, and preparing detailed financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience with NetSuite.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Reconciliations:

• Perform and oversee monthly account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely closing of financial records.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Variance Analysis:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Prepare variance analysis reports and present findings to management.
• Investigate significant variances and provide explanations.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial presentations.

General Accounting Duties:

• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
• Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on month-end reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
