Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a specialty healthcare organization in the Northeastern US that is growing rapidly due to expansion. They are seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to help with a 2-3 month accounting data cleanup project.Title: Senior Accounting ConsultantLocation: RemoteHourly Rate: Market RateJob Type: Contract (2-3 months)Candidate will be responsible for:
- Examining and querying data in the Accounting system (Quickbooks) and Excel
- Extrapolating data out of Quickbooks system
- Identifying areas of improvement from accounting data sets
- Helping to prepare reporting
- Data cleansing
- Preparing data for reconciliation and close process activities
- Parse out information and data as needed
- Ask questions and make recommendations for data modeling
- 10 years of finance and accounting experience
- 5 years of data manipulation experience
- Strong Excel background
- Quickbooks experience preferred
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and provide feedback and recommendations for accounting data cleanup
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
