We are the people behind the people who keep saving lives.The Cybersecurity intern will support the development of Cybersecurity program by identifying and managing cyber risks. The intern will work with the Cybersecurity Operations team to learn about cybersecurity risks, threat intelligence, threat vectors, vulnerabilities, security awareness, incident response, and phishing.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring and investigating ICT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems i.e. SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, Network monitoring, anti-malware, intrusion detection, etc. for cyber attacks, TTPs/Indicators of Compromise.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments for specific applications, services, networks and servers as required
  • Assist the Cybersecurity Operations team to review and track vulnerabilities identified
  • Assist the Cybersecurity Operations team to respond to cybersecurity events
  • Assist in various projects: cybersecurity, forensic analysis, audits, risk assessments and penetration tests, etc.
  • Assist in automating the collection of forensics from Linux distributions
  • Assist in developing scripts to help analyze logs
  • Assist with cybersecurity applications/tools
  • Assist in performing compliance audits against enterprise security controls
  • Assist in creating runbooks, playbooks, security guidelines, and procedures
  • Assist in gathering documentation and metrics for different areas of the security stack
  • Assist in research on cybersecurity topics relevant to cybersecurity and similar industry threats
