Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering and design firm based in California and we are seeking a seasoned Project Manager - Lessons Learned & Facilitations Support Services to support our Education and Facilites Sector. The candidate must also be able to demonstrate a professional demeanor and be an excellent facilitator and have a clear understanding of project cost, schedule, documentation, and risk assessment principles, and able to multi‐task and work in a fast‐paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate must have proven experience in working on complex, multi‐phase, multi‐million-dollar design and construction projects to provide as-needed, lessons learned facilitation and support services.
  • The candidate must be flexible and able to assist the Program Management Office in the daily tasks of managing the Lessons Learned Program.
    • The assignments to include Lessons Learned workshop preparation, facilitation, and Lessons Learned Registers for database.
  • Setup Lesson Learned registers and prepare the Lessons Learned workshops.
  • Facilitate Lessons Learned workshops.
  • Conduct lessons learned analysis, assessment, and mitigation for specific programs and projects, as assigned.
  • Analyze lessons learned workshop information and reviews information in Lessons Learned register.
  • Produce program/project Lessons Learned spreadsheets for database based on workshops
  • Candidate is required to have proven workshop facilitation skills.
  • Ability to guide a project team through the workshop to obtain teachable lessons learned to benefit future project managers and projects.

Qualifications

  • 5‐7 years of direct project support on active construction projects.
  • 5‐7 years working on Lesson Learned activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, accounting or related field.
  • PMP or Risk certification a plus.
  • Proficiency using MS office suite software – Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Skilled experience in video conference software – e.g., Teams, Zoom.
  • Advanced use of Excel knowledge including complex formulas.

Salary Range: $225k to $250K per year.

Location: Long Beach, California - 100 percent onsite.
