As a Dental Assistant, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the patient service experience by delivering the service standard.
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting patients
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Work in safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILIES

  • Assist with root canal and surgical procedures.
  • Take intra-oral and/or 3D x-ray of patients.
  • Turn over chairs and sterilize and prepare instrument trays for procedures.
  • Clean and perform routine maintenance of equipment.
  • Work with patient service front desk staff to coordinate daily patient flow.
  • Work in a team environment with other dental assistants to perform daily job duties.
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (i.e. OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPPA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices).
  • Ability to lift ~20 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
